POWER SHIFT
This September, young people across the country are coming together to shift the power away from the greedy fossil fuel companies that took up permanent residency in the pockets of our last Prime Minister and put it back into the hands of those fighting for a safe climate future.

The Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) is Australia’s largest youth climate organisation and for more than 15 years the AYCC has been building the collective power of young people across Australia, demanding transformative action on climate that puts communities first. AYCC will be holding a summit that is a great training opportunity for young people who are looking to skill themselves up to take on the climate crisis.
The Power Shift Summit will take place from Friday 23 – Sunday 25 September 2022 and will be run as a hybrid event, being held both online and in-person in Brisbane on the lands of the Turrbal and Jagera peoples at the Royal International Conventional Centre.
This summit is filled with inspirational speakers and activists, panels, talks and workshops, and includes First Nations leadership on climate change, land rights, a just transition to renewable energy, creative activist tactics and more!

Every young person is welcome at Power Shift, no matter if you’re an experienced activist or brand new to climate advocacy.
