Prayer for Students as the New School Year Begins
As the new school year begins, we encourage parents, families, youth leaders, and church leaders to pray for all students returning to school.
“Lord God, let the students of 2022 find favour before you.
We pray that You will bless them with the spirit of discernment and understanding.
We pray for the health of our students, teachers and other school staff, as they go back to face to face learning in the midst of the pandemic.
We pray that they will be protected under your wings. Lord, please be their refuge and their fortress.
We pray that you will keep them and be with them when they go out to school and when they come back home.
We pray for what they learn, for their friendships, for their time of fun and games, but also for the struggles they will face.
Lord, we pray that our students will let Your love dwell in their heart and be comforted that through everything they face this new year, you will be by their side.
In Jesus name,
Amen.”
