Amplify your Youth, Children and Family Ministry

Do you remember the time pre Covid?? Last year in March I had the opportunity to go to Queensland to attend the Amplify conference. It is an ecumenical leadership conference for youth, children and family ministry. The Pulse team all going well will be heading up next year and we would love for you to join us!

So everybody had raved to me about Amplify and that I needed to check it out. I was very nervous about going, but I jumped on the plane and met up with my Victorian colleagues for the adventure.

I was blown away by the market place. Pretty much every Christian ministry group from across the country – muso’s, kids authors, resource creators were in the market place. There was just not enough time or money to check it all out!

We shared in worship together, and had the opportunity to go to electives with a wide variety of people, with amazing expertise! It was a supportive and encouraging community, which shared openly and honestly about their experience and ministry. I listened to Pentecostal churches about how they organise and plan for growth, from Christian psychologists about how to support children through the trauma of natural disasters. A number of these speakers have been part of our workers days and our great UCA party during Covid was inspired by the amazing collection of kids muso’s!

So if you are involved in youth, children and family ministry why not consider joining us for a pilgrimage north to the Sunshine State..
