It’s almost SHOWTIME!

We are fast approaching November and the Premiere of this year’s FILM FESTIVAL 2020!

It’s not too late to do a 3-5min short film with your youth group on the theme “Light of the World”! Take some time as a group either physically (following COVID safe guidelines) or online and be creative!

Anyone under 18 years of age in the short film will need permission release forms signed by their parents!

The submission date has been moved to November 11th, understanding that some need a bit more time filming and editing. You guys got this! 💪 To submit, upload your film as a private video onto YouTube and send that link to Gibbo at daniel@stmatthewsuniting.net.au

The screening of this years FILM FESTIVAL will be livestreamed onto the PULSE Facebook Page, and will include a real-time broadcast of the FILM FESTIVAL’s judges who will be picking out the winning film!

As COVID restrictions loosen in our Synod, think about meeting with your youth group on the night of the Premiere and have a mini screening of the festival! Whether this is done at your church or at someone’s place, it will be a great way to watch together, both as a gathered community online through Facebook and as a small gathered community physically (appropriately abiding by the current COVID guidelines).

Have a crack, even if you don’t think you can do it, you won’t know until you try! Do it together and have fun!
