PULSEmail Update
Earlier this year, when COVID19 first hit and we went into lock down, there was a need to help support our kids, parents, and emerging gen workers. As society transitioned to working and schooling at home, some losing jobs and others rearranging lifestyles, our KUCA clubs, Sunday Schools, and Youth Groups also had to adapt to the changes. This hasn’t been an easy task for anyone.

In response to this, the Pulse team launched a new weekly initiative to help support Emerging Gen ministries during this time. PulseMail was designed to be posted out to Preschoolers, Primary Schoolers and High Schoolers with activities reflecting on the weekly lectionary readings. We went live online on the week of Palm Sunday, 5th April 2020, with the opening of registrations and the first PulseMail being accessible or all. Every week since then, PulseMail has been sent out to each registered household! 12 weeks later we have a total of 268 PulseMail packs registered and sent out to our Emerging Gens!

As COVID19 restrictions start to loosen and society cautiously opens back up, churches are also looking at making a return to physical gathering, including youth and KUCA groups. With this in mind, the Pulse team have decided to start transitioning PulseMail to a strictly online resource now and will be concluding this resource initiative on the 26th July 2020. Every Thursday up until the 26th July 2020 we will upload the weeks PulseMail on our website and also post a link to the source on our Facebook page
The Pulse team would like to thank our administrative team for helping with the online organisation and registrations and the Venues team for helping with the printing and distribution each week. We would also like to thank all those that contributed to PulseMail so far, including Kristy Morgan for her contributions to the Preschool PulseMail and all those that contributed to the High School PulseMail! Thank you Tupou, Raymond, Hayden, Sydney Cheil Youth, and Manitela! It has been a great honour to support our young people and those in ministry with young people in this way, and although PulseMail is slowly coming to an end we know that the future holds many more exciting endeavours!
Here’s a Master List of Pulse Mail so far!
