5 resources to help you run your youth ministry online
Feel like you’re losing?

In this great post on the Fuller Youth Institute website Rachel Dodd opens up about a critical time in her ministry when everything changed – long before COVID-19.
For her, the need to maintain normalcy in the midst of her situation was paramount. “My frantic attempts to keep programming moving forward “as normal” didn’t sound like ministry when I put them on paper. They sounded more like a line of defence. I wasn’t listening to what this moment of disruption could teach me.”
She encourages us to find new ways to engage and listen to our young people and their parents, seeking new opportunities to serve those we might already know pretty well.
Remember, just as the world changed for you it also changed for them.
At the end Rachel lists off 5 great resources you can use with your leaders and young people that will help reconfigure your posture to one of “listening, not losing”, including Faith in An Anxious World, conversation toolkits and more. Check them out!
