Pacific Climate Leadership Opportunity

Are you a young member of the Pacific community living in Western Sydney?

Do you wish to play a role in:

  • alerting your community to the climate risks facing Western Sydney and the Pacific Islands?
  • promoting climate action?
  • strengthening the calls for action coming from the Pacific?

There is a great opportunity for a Climate Leadership Program with the Edmund Rice Centre and Pacific Calling Partnership. This is a free course that is running from mid-August to 12th October 2020, followed up with implementing a climate advocacy project from October to December 2020. The program includes online climate advocacy education, project implementation, mentoring, community celebration, and graduation.

Applications for the course close on 3 August 2020. The course is free of charge and there will be a small allowance for participants.

If you are interested, complete the application and send to jlarkin@edmundrice.org
