HSC LOCK-IN offers community and support to Year 12 students
A tangible way for congregations, presbyteries and communities to support their senior school students.

As a part of PULSE’s approach of working to provide events for young people that act as touchstones and develop a rite of passage within our movement we’re pleased to announce our first annual HSC LOCK-IN!
Running for four days in the October mid-semester holidays, and two weeks before the HSC starts, the camp at Naamaroo Conference Centre is an intentional gathering for study, including opportunities for tutoring and marked practice exams. Additionally students will take part in a wholistic program that includes community development, stress management, mindfulness, and engagement with our University chaplains as they lead us through times of biblical study and reflection.
There will also be great food and plenty of good coffee.
Invitations are open to all Year 12 HSC/IB students from across the Synod who are looking for an opportunity to share together in preparation for their final exams. Part and full subsidies are available on request – please contact the PULSE team so that we can help and ensure you/your student(s) can be there!
Please continue to pray for all the students in our state, especially those facing their HSC/IB exams this year. They’ve experienced significant disruption in their preparation this year and the pressure is only building. Pray specifically for the Year 12s you know personally, and pray generally for peace and support for their mental health.
God knows they need him and your prayers.
